Hello 👋

I'm currently a Senior Designer at Modern Luxury, leading luxury media company and publisher of 80+ magazine titles. I design a variety of layouts such as front-of-book, openers, home tours, celebrity features, and insert covers. On a monthly basis, I work across 7 titles: San Francisco, Silicon Valley, San Diego, Scottsdale, Interiors Atlanta, Weddings Atlanta and our annual guide of the Bay Area, Insider, where I also illustrate the cover. Prior to this role, I kickstarted my professional career with multiple internships over the years at places such as Encyclopaedia Britannica, Gies College of Business, Ricker Library, electric charging station company EVBox, and a non-profit that educates and empowers those interested in the music industry, Gen Admission (I came up with the name!).

I earned a BFA in Graphic Design and a BFA in Painting, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During my time at UIUC, I enrolled in countless art and design classes as well as museum studies, art history, advertising, journalism, and several in environmental sciences. During the spring of my junior year, I studied abroad at the University of Leeds in Yorkshire, England. I took classes in art history, psychology, and evolution and human behavior, while I also delighted in many adventures across the UK (riding on their amazing train system).

When I'm not working, I'm doing one of my favorite things: listening to a podcast or some music on a walk, fangirling at a concert (50 and counting!), reading something for my friend's book club, or drinking an oat milk latte.
